Father's Day is Sunday!!! What are you planning for Dad? A special cookout, Dinner at a favorite restaurant, Breakfast in bed, a camping trip, or just some quality time with the family?
Dads- you're in the spotlight! What is the best Father's Day gift you ever recieved? Don't be shy!
Happy Wedding Month! Let's talk about Bridal Showers. For many brides, the idea of a traditional bridal shower is daunting at best. If you are planning a bridal shower, consider the bride's personality. If she is not all about being feminine and is uncomfortable being the center of attention, she may not like the idea of a completely traditional shower with games and petitite finger foods. Consider her personality, and everything will flow more smoothly.

Here are some ideas for an amazing bridal shower.
-Enclose recipe cards with or as RSVP cards, put them in a recipe box for her as a gift. She will have the start of a family recipe collection- such a heartfelt gift would be sure to please an bride-to-be!
-Themed shower- if the bride already has a good start to her home, why not ask guests to bring something she will be able to use on her honeymoon? This is a fantastic way to get guests involved. Try a luau theme for a Hawaii Honeymoon, a beach theme for somewhere tropical, a fiesta for a Mexican honeymoon.
-Coed shower- these are becoming more and more popular in modern times. Men can be present at coed showers, which is wonderful if the bride is close to male relatives she would not be able to see at a traditional shower. These can be themed as well (maybe the couple enjoys camping or cooking out?)

These mini cheesecakes are a fabulous idea for a summer bridal shower treat. Also consider fresh fruit, iced tea, and punch. Think refeshing!

Have an idea to add? We would love to hear it!
